Applications Open for the February 2027 Intake: Diploma in Education (Secondary Sciences)

Joshua Mqabuko Nkomo Polytechnic invites eligible applicants to enrol as student teachers for a three-year Diploma in Education (Secondary Science) course, to specialise in the subjects listed below. The programme is a semesterised 3-year course. Intake: February 2027 (Intake 9) Closing date: 29 January 2027 Specialisation subjects - Pure Sciences - Mathematics - Geography - Agriculture - Computer Science Applicants may choose to specialise in any one subject listed above. Entry requirements - At least 5 O Level passes with grade C or better, including English Language, Mathematics and a pass in the area of specialisation. - For Pure Science specialisation, the applicant should have any one of the listed O Level Pure Science subjects or combinations: Physical Science, Extended Science, Combined Science, Physics and Biology or Chemistry and Biology, Integrated Science. - For Computer Science specialisation, the applicant should have a pass in Computer Science, Physics or Mathematics. - NB: A pass at A Level in the specialisation subject is an added advantage. How to apply Option 1: Come in person and submit your application with certified photocopies of your Birth Certificate, ID and Academic Certificates, proof of payment of the processing fee, and your phone number. Alternatively, send your application with the required copies to the Polytechnic address through courier services.
