Joshua Mqabuko Nkomo Polytechnic, in collaboration with Chinhoyi University of Technology, the Research Council of Zimbabwe, NAPRECA-Zimbabwe and the Biochemistry and Molecular Biology Society of Zimbabwe (BMBSZ), presents the Inaugural International Joint Research Conference. Dates: 4 to 6 November 2026 Venue: Mpala Boutique Hotel, Bulawayo Theme "Advancing Zimbabwe's Development Agenda Through Research, Innovation and Technology: Catalyst for Shaping Industrialisation, Sustainability and Inclusive Growth toward Vision 2030 and beyond" Sub-themes 1. Science, Technology and Innovation-Driven Industrialisation and Entrepreneurship 2. Agriculture, Food Security and Climate Resilience 3. Health, Education and Human Capital Development 4. Sustainable Infrastructure, Energy and Smart Communities 5. Governance, Policy and Inclusive Socio-Economic Development Important dates - 2 October 2026: deadline for submission of abstracts - 9 October 2026: feedback to presenters - 12 October 2026: registration opens - 23 October 2026: full papers and PowerPoint presentations due - 30 October 2026: registration closes Abstract submission Abstracts must not exceed 300 words, should include five to seven keywords, and must indicate the relevant sub-theme. Include the full names, institutional affiliations and contact details of the corresponding author. Full paper submission Full papers should be between 4,000 and 6,000 words including references, follow the APA 7th Edition referencing style, and be submitted in Microsoft Word (Times New Roman, 12pt, 1.5 line spacing). Presentations must not exceed 10 slides. All submissions must be original, unpublished work. Publication opportunities Exceptional papers presented at the conference will be considered for publication in Chinhoyi University of Technology (CUT) journals.
